Second time coming here and I can’t say a bad word. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I asked the waitress about a sauce if it was spicy or not and she got me a small amount to try before I had it on my dish, which I thought was really lovely. She was so kind and polite throughout our whole visit. The food was absolutely delicious one of the best tear ‘n’ shares we’ve had in a long time. The loaded chips are to die for, we just had eyes bigger than our bellies and ended up having the rest to go as the portions were massive! Cant wait to come back again and hopefully be able to try the desserts!
Thank you to all the staff for making it such a pleasant experience.

Overall, it was a great experience!
We wisited on Saturday (3rd of August) at lunchtime. We did not book ahead, and the restaurant was quite busy, but they managed to find a table for us. I recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment.
The food was fantastic, served in very generous portions. We had the slow cooked beef, calf liver, and chicken and fries.
The staff were lovely and looked after us throughout our meal.
Accessibility: Disabled parking is available, and a disabled toilet can be accessed via radar key (not Changing Places toilet).
Ramp access to main entrance and leading to the table area, so it's a good place to bring wheelchair users.

Absolutely wonderful food. We had a lovely experience eating here. Their sticky toffee pudding is to die for. For 4 people around £150 it seems a lot, but we'll worth it. Great for celebrating birthdays or any occasion. You have to book first and pay a £5 deposit for each person. It was full when we ate and got a bit noisy with everyone talking at once. But it's still worth it.
Parking: We managed to find a space.
Kid-friendliness: The service was great. They were all polite.

Absolutely fantastic. As we walked through the door, we were greeted by the lovely lady behind the bar. She made us feel welcome and at home whilst we waited for our table. Some of the waiting staff were very young on our visit, but they were all brilliant at their job. Nothing was too much and we were served with a smile. As for the food... oh my gosh! Delicious. We can't wait to visit again.

Staff and service good, plenty of trimmings and large portions. Unfortunately the meat wasn’t great. The beef specifically was tough, which in my opinion is what you’re paying for. Extra gravy was also charged a £1 extra which is disappointing. But the puddings were nice, recommend the cornflake tart., an East Midlands favourite.
