An amazing 2 hour trek. Staff are friendly and knowledgable. Our horses were wonderful and the scenery just beautiful. Our lead Lena was lovely. My friend and I have ridden at many stables, schools and trekking centres between us over the years and this one is way up there. We plan to book again very soon.

Relaxing and safe, great staff who make you welcome. Very safety conscious but it does not take anything away from this beautiful countryside experience. Rides and horses to suit just about everyone! Definitely worth the money x

We would like to thank the wonderful people who run Derbyshire Pony Trekking. Booking was so easy for us , a few texts and booked the ride. It was truly a memorable experience we had with the charming Lauren and Lee who accompanied us and we thoroughly enjoyed the one hour guided pony ride. They are very energetic and lovely people who talked to us all the way up and down and we were so excited and were happy to be with them. The pony’s were so nice and friendly and we never had any problems even though we were the beginners and never ride any horse before. It was least expensive as well. We will definitely visit them again very soon. Thanks a lot

Came today for my partners birthday we had bought him a gift voucher . What a lovely place so easy to find the horse's are Absolutely beautiful . I had looked at many places to go but the reviews stood out on this place and now I know why .The girls are lovely chatted to us made us feel very welcome. I had lena leading me and my horse to say you havnt been there long you are credit I will definitely be coming back thank you x

We had 3 rides over 3 days. A wonderful experience from a great team. Amazing selection of horses which for me were April, Rufus and Ace. All 3 were a joy to be with, gentle and compliant and filled me with confidence. The trails were very enjoyable, especially the final day, passing the Llama farm and visiting the Viewing Point where you can see 4 counties. Highly recommend and we will return.

I went for 1.5 hour trek with DPT and they are absolutely incredible. They pair you with the right horse for you, they instruct you on how to stop, walk and turn once you are on the horse to make sure you are comfortable. (I haven’t ridden in years so this was a nice refresher). The trek had amazing scenery and there are so many routes. All the staff are so lovely and know each horse well which makes you feel more confident that they know their behaviour etc. Amazing experience, thanks so much DPT team.

Had a lovely morning with hubby and 3 grandchildren aged between 10 and 19. All of us not been riding for a few years, a little apprehensive at first but soon settled down, horses lovely, very nice temperament, staff lovely, very chatty and made to feel at ease. What a lovely ride.

We hadn't been horse riding for a few years and our instructor Paige was wonderful - kept us at the right pace and mix to build confidence. Loved the ride through the forest. My horse Rufus was a gentle giant and I felt safe and comfortable with him.

Return visit. My daughter and i adore the place. The instructors give you plenty of confidence and you are actually allowed to ride the horses. The horses are fabulous and well cared for. Well worth a trip from Doncaster. We are booked in again and can't wait to come back. We love that there are many bridle paths and spectacilar scenery and wildlife to see.
