I am a regular visitor to this park and have to say that its a little gem just on our doorstep with terrific views and just last week I saw a barn owl flying around the park and its never really too busy, loads of wild cowslips at this time of year, lovely.

It is a country park where you can walk around beside the lake. There is a car park, that you can park your car for free. You can bring your dog with you. There are Mines and Stones called the top of the world.

Lovely walk by the lake & Grandkids really enjoyed a cycle round & fun on the play parks. Was amazing sat watching the gorgeous huge dragonfly’s & seeing what other wildlife we could spot xx Would give 5 stars but was a very hot day so needed extra refreshments from the cafe. Was so expensive in my opinion compared to other country parks & minimum card payments which doesn’t need to be the case now like it did in the past.

An enjoyable visit. At times a steep undulating walk, with a walking surface mostly of compressed gravel, however with wide open green spaces surround by trees and bird song. Benches about but not that many, didn't see any other facilities! One small thing to watch out for is that horses use the park and occasionally can leave reminders!! However a Recommended place to visit.

Nice sculpture trail and links onto archaeological way.
Right next to a station
Good for dog walkers it is a fairly small country park but has a couple of marked trails 1.5 mile and 2.5 mile.

Nice area, wouldn't recommend to go when it's took hot which is when we went, but definitely worth a visit. Hill was bigger than I expected from reviews I'd seen. View from top was lovely and free car parking.

Looking for somewhere for a short circular walk? This park is perfect. Ponds with dragon flies and fish, wildflower meadows with an abundance butterflies and insects and a few sculptures on the way round. Really quiet, only saw one other person on our walk. Free parking always a bonus. A park well worth a visit!

Great walk. 2, 3 and 4 mile route. Great for dogs, bikes, and a combination of routes that would allow wheelchairs etc. (Not signed posted however)
